On August 7, Professor Brennan McLaughlin traveled to Clemson University where he gave a talk on “Photon and Electron Collision Cross-Sections for Astrophysical and Plasma Applications.” Prof. McLaughlin has multiple publications on the topic of atomic and molecular collisions, and currently teaches in the school of Mathematics and Physics at Queen’s University in Belfast, UK.
